On December 27, 2024, a special initiative called the Baby Cradle Scheme was introduced at Sivakasi Government Hospital with the aim of preventing the abandonment of newborn babies in public places and garbage bins. This initiative was jointly organized by the Virudhunagar District Child Protection Unit, Sivakasi Corporation, and Anbaal Inaivom Foundation. The event was presided over by Dr. Ayyanar, Chief Medical Officer of Sivakasi Government Hospital. Special guests included Mrs. Janaki from the District Child Protection Unit, Mrs. Muniyammal, a member of the Virudhunagar District Child Welfare Committee, and Mr. Satheeshkumar, a member of the Sivakasi Corporation Child Protection Committee. Other notable attendees were Senbagamani, Mr. Murugan from Rajamurugan Paper Store, Mr. Mani from Nithya Mobiles, JCI Shanthadeepan, and Anbaal Inaivom members Jagadeesh, Marimuthu, and Selvaganesh. The event was organized by the dedicated members of the Anbaal Inaivom Foundation to promote child safety and welfare in the community.
